What Claude YouTube automation means here

Claude does not reach YouTube by itself. It reaches it through an MCP server, a set of tools an app hands to Claude, and the server decides what Claude can read and change. From the Claude chat

In claude.ai, open Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste https://runsheet.buildifyapp.in/api/mcp and approve it on Runsheet’s own consent screen. Then Claude can:

• read this week’s schedule and your library, with each video’s views as Runsheet records them;
• rewrite the title, description and tags of a video, or of several in one ask;
• schedule a video that is already on YouTube as a draft, for a time at least fifteen minutes away;
• file videos into your playlists, translate a title and description, and publish a scheduled video now;
• find the outlier video on a channel you watch and write ideas and a script from it.

A deletion asked for through Claude waits ten minutes and emails you an undo link, so a mistake is not final. Nothing here needs your computer, so it works from the Claude app on your phone too.

On your computer, with Claude Code

Making the videos needs Claude on your computer. In Claude Code, in the terminal or the Code tab of the Claude desktop app, Runsheet’s plugin adds three things the chat cannot do:

• It makes the videos. Shorts, and long videos with chapters, written from your channel and made on your computer as motion graphics with a voice, captions and music, in one of 5 styles.
• It cuts Shorts from your long videos. It hears the speech on your own machine, picks moments that stand on their own and frames each one for a phone.
• It uploads from your disk. Each video goes from your computer straight to YouTube, private until its publish time, and YouTube puts it live on its own clock.
