Cancellation and refunds

How to cancel

Open Settings and press Cancel. It asks once to confirm and then it is done. There is no retention flow to sit through, no offer to decline and nobody to email. If you would rather not use the button, mail hello@buildifyapp.in from the address on the account and it will be cancelled for you.

What happens to your access

Cancelling stops the renewal. It does not cut you off. You keep the plan you paid for until the end of the period already paid for, and the account drops to read only when that date passes, not on the day you cancel.

Refunds

Billing is in advance, monthly or yearly, and payments are not refunded. What you get instead is the full period you paid for: cancelling stops the next charge and changes nothing about your access until the date that period ends.

The reasoning is that nothing is withheld from you in the meantime. You are not being cut off early and then told the rest is forfeit, which is the version of this policy worth objecting to. You keep every day you have paid for.

A charge that should not have happened at all is a different matter and worth raising: a duplicate payment, or a renewal after you had already cancelled. Mail kalpesh@buildifyapp.in from the account address with roughly when it happened.

Card details are handled entirely by Dodo Payments and never reach Runsheet, so anything refunded is issued through them and returns to the original payment method.

If the law where you live gives you a stronger right than this policy does, you have that right and nothing on this page takes it away.

A failed payment is not a cancellation

If a renewal fails, the account keeps working for 7 days while the card is retried, rather than locking immediately. Nothing is deleted during that period.

What you keep afterwards

A lapsed account is read only, not closed. The CSV export stays open, so your data does not become a hostage to a subscription, and you keep 30 days of view history in the app. Snapshots carry on being recorded in the background, so if you come back later the curve did not stop while you were away.

Nothing published to YouTube is affected by any of this. A video that has been scheduled is already on YouTube, held private until its publish time by YouTube itself, so it goes out whether or not you are still a customer.

Deleting the account entirely

Cancelling and deleting are different, and deleting is not automatic. Ask from the account address and the account, the channel connection and the stored tokens are removed within seven days. See the privacy policy.
