One account, several channels, nothing summed together.

The failure this avoids
The obvious way to build this is to filter by account and let the numbers fall where they may. It does not error, which is what makes it dangerous: a library quietly shows 32 videos when one channel has 28 and the other has 4, a finding is computed from two catalogues mixed together, and a median that describes neither channel is presented with the same confidence as one that does. Nothing on the screen says it happened.
So every read in the product names a channel, and a check in the build fails the deploy if one does not. That check is why this page can make the claim at all.
Today is the one screen that spans them
Deliberately. “What needs me” is a question about the account rather than about one channel, and a broken connection on the second channel must not be able to hide behind a first channel that is fine. So Today lists every channel and labels each line with which one it is about. Everything else, the runsheet, the library, the analytics, the watchlist, is one channel at a time and says which.
What scales and what is shared
Work scales with channels: the queue, the watched channels and the monthly publishing allowance are counted per channel, so a second channel gets its own rather than halving the first one’s. Cost does not: drafting runs, generated artwork and the YouTube API budget are shared across the account, because those spend money or somebody else’s quota, and five channels on one account do not bring five accounts’ worth of revenue with them.
Which is which is printed beside every number on the pricing page, rather than left for you to discover.
What this feature will not do, stated where you can read it before paying.
- One login per account. Several channels, yes; several people, not yet.
- The drafting tools and generated thumbnails are shared across the account rather than counted per channel, because each one costs real money per press. The pricing page marks which allowances are which.
- After a downgrade, the channels you connected first stay open, and any beyond the plan's count are locked and cannot be opened. Nothing on them is deleted: their videos and recorded history come back when the plan does.
