Four weeks, a column per weekday
The runsheet starts today and runs four weeks, laid out as a calendar with Monday first, so each column is a weekday. That is what answers the questions a posting rhythm raises: am I posting every Tuesday, is next week thin, how far is this video from the one before it. A day with nothing in it says so and offers to be filled, with your saved ideas or a slot pencilled in, rather than sitting there as a blank square. The list view shows the same four weeks one day per row, for when you would rather read down than across.
Shorts and long cuts sit in the same day. Most tooling treats them as separate pipelines, which is how a week ends up with five shorts and no long video without anyone deciding that.
Nothing of ours can miss your slot
A scheduled video is uploaded to YouTube immediately as private, carrying a publishAt timestamp. YouTube flips it public at that moment. There is no queue on our side, no worker that has to be awake, and no window that can be missed because a job failed at 4am. The only failure mode left is an upload that never completed, and you see that the moment it happens rather than the morning after.
An empty day offers your saved ideas
Open an empty day and it lists the ideas you saved. Pick one and the composer opens with its title and the day already filled in; the file is still yours to attach, or you can pencil the slot in now and add the file later. The point is that the answer to “what do I post Thursday” is not a blank page at 11pm on Wednesday.
